Personal Progress New Years Resolutions

Hi! So, I have some new years resolutions you can add to your list that include personal progress! They will have things to do with prayer, completing personal progress, etc.
Completing Personal Progress:
This could be the last year for you! If you are 18 and haven't finished Personal Progress you should definitely make one of these your goals. Or, if you are a Beehive or Mia Maid who has nothing but time this summer check out one of these! It will definitely help you in the near future!
1. Finish Personal Progress this year! Here is a helpful link to help you finish Personal Progress this summer.
2. Complete at least one Personal Progress experience each month (Such as Faith #1, Individual Worth #7, etc.)
3. Complete 2 Personal Progress values this year (Such as Divine Nature or Virtue)
Working on Personal Progress:
Okay, maybe you don't want to finish Personal Progress this year but you do want to get some of it done. This section is definitely for you! It will give you ideas on how to work on Personal Progress at your own rate! If you have any other resolutions to add to any of these lists, comment them below and I'll add them!
1. Pray every day (This will help you complete Faith #1)
2. Read at least 1-2 chapters of the Book of Mormon each night (This will help you complete the Final Project in Virtue)
3. Compliment yourself and then thee people often (This will help you in Individual Worth)
4. Keep a recipe book (This will help you in Knowledge and Good Works)
5. Learn to sew, crochet, knit, paint, draw, etc. (This will help you in Knowledge)
Helping Others with Personal Progress:
Maybe you are a mother, sister, cousin, etc. who wants to help their daughter, sister, or cousin with Personal Progress! This section will show you ways to help them.
1. If they offer to give you service, ACCEPT! They are probably trying to get their Honor Bee or Good Works.
2. Give them this book! It was written by an amazing and well known Personal Progress blogger. It will help them so much!
Thank you for reading this and hopefully it gave you some ideas for New Years Resolutions this year!

Integrity Projects

A couple of months ago, I was asked by a lovely lady to give her some ideas for an experience for Integrity. I checked multiple sources and these are the best ones I found. I hope you find these helpful!  1. Think about situations where youth might be tempted to be dishonest. Decide now how you would act, and write about it in your journal. 2. Read a scripture story where someone showed integrity, and then record in your journal how that example can help you today. 3. Choose someone who lives with integrity. Send a letter expressing your appreciation for their example. 4. Collect quotes, pictures, and talks that remind you of who you are and help you stay on track. Look at the notebook when you need some guidance. Leave some space in the back to write out problems and trials so you can look back on them. 5. Make a conference binder 6. Sew your own temple dress 7. Create a day by day calendar with quotes from the general authorities 8.  Put together a devotional book ...

Girls Camp 2016

So, I am now in Young Womens/Personal Progress. When you turn 12-13 year olds are Beehives, 14-15 year olds are Mia Maids, and 16-17 year olds are Laurels. Once a year, usually in June or July, the Young Women go to Girls Camp. Now that I am a Beehive, I am a first year camper at Girls Camp. Starting the month before, we started preparing to get our camp certifications. For 1st year campers, we just need to tie some knots, learn how to use a compass, etc. We worked on getting our camp certifications and afterwards we would always get some kind of treat. At the Camp Kickoff, we were told that the theme would be BOOT Camp. B uilding O n O ur T estimonies. Get it? BOOT camp? No? I'll explain it: B uilding O n O ur T estimonies Flash forward one month, we are FINALLY at girls camp! It is July 13 and we have just arrived in the fresh mountain air. We stand around for about 30 minutes and then we start setting up tents and getting our things into the tents. There were 2 tents...
